How do I add someone and save their information?
Open Connect, tap Add Person, enter their name and phone number, choose how often you want to reach out, then tap Save Person. The person is saved immediately on your device and backed up as encrypted data when you are online.
How do reminders work?
After saving someone, choose Remind me. Connect creates a repeating event in your phone calendar. Tap Add in the calendar screen to finish. The reminder then works through your phone even when the website is closed.
Does Phone Smarts AI send texts without my approval?
No. It writes a draft, then you tap Approve & Send. Your normal Messages app opens with the text filled in, and you make the final send.
How is my contact list backed up?
Connect encrypts names, phone numbers, and preferences in your browser before uploading the backup. The storage service receives ciphertext, not readable contact details. Use Copy recovery key in Connect and keep that key somewhere safe.
How do I restore my people on another phone?
Open Connect on the new phone, find Backup & restore, tap Restore, and paste your recovery key. Without that key, nobody—including us—can decrypt the backup.
Can I install Connect like an app?
Yes. On iPhone, open Connect in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, use Chrome’s Install app or Add to Home screen option.

Why do some automations say “Soon”?
The catalog shows the planned product, while cards marked Live are available now. Early access is free while the library is being built.
Does this work on Android?
Connect works on iPhone and Android. Some Assistant automations use Apple Shortcuts and are iPhone-specific; Android-compatible items are labeled separately.
